Most people agree that it's important to have a simple online banking solution, user-friendly insurance forms and that it's easy to join a fitness centre. But does being able to pay bills in three clicks improve your finances? Does the ease of filling in a form reduce the risk of fire, and not least, do you exercise more often because it was easy to join? If you want to change behaviour, you need to go beyond surface-level solutions. It's about really understanding how we humans think and make decisions. What stops us and what motivates us. In this talk, you'll hear about what actually changes behaviour. Like how we got SATS inactive members to start exercising, as well as several other concrete examples of how you can use behavioural psychology and nudging in practice!
